2008 Royal Society Prize for Science Books
For over 300 years the Royal Society has been acting in the best interests of science in the UK.
Now with sponsorship of the Science Books Prize they aim to encourage the reading and publishing of high quality, popular science books.
The books below would be great for anyone with an interest in science and would make special presents. This year's
winner was Six degrees: Our future on a hotter planet by Mark Lynas. The Junior Science Books Prize was
won by Rebecca Gilpin with The big book of science things to make and do.
Last year's winner was Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert. The Junior Science Books Prize was won by Richard Hammond with Can You Feel the Force?
