2008 Pulitzer Prize
Primarily known for its journalism awards, the Pulitzer Prize has also been awarded for contributions to literacy and poetry over the past ninety years. Previous winners include John F. Kennedy for his book Profiles in Courage and Ernest Hemingway for one of his most famous novels, The Old Man and the Sea.
