Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction - 2008

The Orange Prize for Fiction is a relatively recent literary award, having been established in 1996. It has nevertheless managed to quickly build a reputation for quality and is now considered one of the top awards in the UK. The prize is open to female authors of any nationality for novels written in English and published in the UK. This year's winner was Rose Tremain for her beautifully written novel, "The Road Home".
Joanna Kavenna won the 2008 Orange Broadband Award for New Writers.
