Booker Prize - 2007
The Man Booker Prize is the UK's annual celebration of the finest in fiction. The shortlist for 2007 was announced in September and the winner - Anne Enright - was announced at an awards ceremony at the Guildhall, London on Tuesday 16th October.

The 2007 winner of the Booker Prize concerns the dark history across three generations of an Irish family. The funeral - or "Gathering" of the book's title - causes the narrator to explore her family's secrets as she tries to come to terms with the death of her brother.
