T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry - 2007
The T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry is named after one of the most famous poets of the 20th centuary. Originally from America, T.S. Eliot moved to the UK later in life where he produced his most well known poetry. He founded the Poetry Book Society in 1953 and this same body now runs the T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry in his honour. Sean O'Brien was announced as the overall winner of the award in January 2008 for his collection, "The Drowned Book".
